Key Features
Three Distinct Neutral Grip Positions
The Compact Multi Grip Press Bar features three grip widths:
6" Grip Width
The closest grip position on the bar.
A practical option for close-grip pressing and movements where a narrower hand position is preferred.
12.5" Grip Width
The middle grip position provides a moderate hand placement that can be useful across pressing and pulling movements.
19" Grip Width
The widest grip position provides additional space between the hands while maintaining a neutral grip orientation.
Together, the three positions allow you to adjust hand width without changing bars.
Neutral Grip Orientation
All grip positions use a neutral hand orientation.
Instead of forcing the palms downward as they would be on a traditional straight barbell, the neutral grip allows the hands to face each other.
That can provide a useful alternative for lifters who prefer a more neutral wrist and forearm position during pressing, rowing, curling, and triceps movements.
Individual anatomy and exercise technique will always determine which grip feels best, but having multiple neutral grip widths gives you more options than a single fixed-grip bar.
31mm Knurled Grips
The 31mm grip diameter provides a familiar barbell-style feel without moving into an oversized axle-style grip.
The medium-aggressive knurling is designed to provide dependable grip security during loaded upper-body movements while remaining practical for repeated training.
The result is a grip that feels substantial in the hand without making the bar unnecessarily difficult to hold.
Compact 28" Frame
The 28" frame is the defining feature of this bar.
The compact design makes it easier to handle and store than many full-size specialty bars while still providing three useful grip positions.
It is particularly well suited for:
- Home gyms
- Smaller training spaces
- Compact racks
- Lifters with limited storage
- Upper-body focused training setups
The shorter frame also gives the bar a more focused purpose. It does not try to replicate every possible grip configuration. It provides three neutral positions and keeps the overall design compact.
48mm Olympic-Compatible Sleeves
The bar uses 48mm sleeves designed for standard 2" Olympic plates.
The 10" sleeve length provides practical loading space while helping maintain the bar's compact overall footprint.
1/4" Steel Frame Rails
The frame is constructed using 1/4" steel side rails.
The interior frame measures approximately 5", with an overall frame profile of approximately 5.5".
The frame is designed around a compact structural profile rather than using unnecessary material simply to make the bar appear oversized.
Built for Upper-Body Versatility
The Compact Multi Grip Press Bar is not limited to pressing.
Its neutral grip positions make it useful across a range of upper-body movements, including:
Chest and shoulders
- Bench press
- Incline pressing
- Close-grip pressing
Back
- Barbell rows
- Upper-back rows
- Neutral-grip pulling movements
Biceps
