Key Features
Swiss Bar Geometry for Shoulder-Friendly Training
A flat Swiss frame keeps the load aligned and predictable. Combined with grip options, it helps many lifters maintain a stronger position and reduce aggravating angles during pressing volume.
Choose Your Grip Layout (based on how you press)
Grip layout changes how your elbows track and how your shoulders feel.
- All Neutral: Best starting point for joint comfort and consistent pressing mechanics.
- All Angled (20 degrees): Supports a more natural wrist angle for some lifters, especially on pressing variations.
- Mixed Grip V1 (Angled inner, Neutral outer): Prioritizes pressing comfort on closer grips while keeping outer grips neutral for rows.
- Mixed Grip V2 (Neutral inner, Angled outer): Prioritizes neutral close-grip pressing while offering angled outer grips for preference or elbow tracking.
Grip Diameter Options (why it matters)
Handle diameter changes training feel, grip demand, and fatigue profile. Thick grips are commonly used to increase grip challenge and forearm involvement, and research on “fat grip” training shows measurable grip-related effects in training settings.
- Small 26mm: Closest feel to traditional bars. Best for high-rep work, smaller hands, and minimizing early grip fatigue.
- Medium 31mm: Balanced option for most lifters. Strong control without turning every set into grip-limited work.
- Large 43mm (3 grip pairs only): Increases grip demand and forearm involvement and can be useful for lifters deliberately training grip strength or wanting a more “thick bar” feel.
Note: Large grips ship with 3 grip pairs instead of 4.
Grip Texture Options (why it matters)
Texture affects friction, control, and comfort. Knurling is specifically used to increase friction and reduce slip risk when hands sweat.
- Coarse coated texture: More forgiving on hands during volume work, still provides bite and control. Good for high frequency training.
- Diamond knurling: Higher friction and more secure grip, especially useful when loading heavy or training without straps.
Modular Pin System (cross-compatible)
Choose 1 inch pins now, and upgrade later. BMF 1” and 2” pins are cross-compatible across the platform, so you can switch to 2 inch sleeves in the future without replacing the bar frame.
